After a heartbreaking loss at home to the Trojans last season, the Ducks, who have since won 11 straight games, will try to pick up their 13th consecutive road victory and move to 9-0 on the season. Redshirt freshman Marcus Mariota will try to keep his team in the national title hunt and atop the NCAA in scoring. The Ducks, who rank first in the nation with 53.38 points per game, have tallied most of those points in the first half as they hold a 290-56 edge over their opponents this season in the first half.
Meanwhile, Matt Barkley, who ranks second in the Pac-12 in passing yards per game (283.25) and passing efficiency (163.30 rating), will try to set the all-time completions record for the conference with two more complete passes. The senior signal caller from Newport Beach, Calif., is also hoping to get USC (6-2, 4-2 Pac-12) back on track with a signature win this weekend over Oregon.
