DAVEY O’BRIEN NATIONAL QUARTERBACK AWARD
FORT WORTH, Texas – The 2010 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award® (The O’Brien) Marquee Match-up for week 11 highlights O’Brien Semifinalist Andy Dalton and Ryan Lindley as they square off in a Mountain West Conference (MWC) duel.
Fans can show their support for Dalton, as well as any of the other 15 semifinalists, by visiting www.VoteOBrien.org and voting as often as once daily. The Fan Vote will count as 5% of the total vote in determining the finalists.
Marquee Match-up: San Diego State at No. 3 TCU
Saturday, November 13 at 3 p.m. (CT) on Versus
After trampling Utah 47-7 last weekend, Andy Dalton and the TCU Horned Frogs must defeat Ryan Lindley and the San Diego State Aztecs in order to remain in contention for a BCS National Championship Game berth. Dalton leads the MWC in passing efficiency (166.68) and is the nation’s winningest active quarterback with 39 career victories as a starter.
Lindley will try to lead the Aztecs to their first victory against the Horned Frogs. The junior signal-caller from Alpine, Calif. leads the MWC in total offense with 268.89 yards per game.
